This professionally recorded DVD contains three chapters: the first shows the materials you need and slowly demonstrates vital techniques. The second teaches you how to paint Loose Amaryllis. This teaches how to paint in a variety of ways, AND you'll leave with a collection of beautiful, original cards that you can frame or have duplicated (about 50 cents) to send to friends. There are a number of greeting card classes; each class has unique cards not repeated in other card classes.

Using an exciting, unique process, we will begin with extremely wet washes textured with a variety of tricks. As we continue to work, the images of fragile water lilies emerge. This sort of painting is the remedy if your work is typically too tight or dry. Instructor will provide any special materials. This class is offered twice.

Collage Florals

In this unique class you will learn surprising techniques to create prize-winning paintings. You will make and use your own collage materials; using your choice of colors and your favorite flowers, you will design your own compositions. You will complete two to three paintings ready-to-frame. This class teaches composition and design as well as watercolor techniques. By popular demand, this class is being offered for the third time.

Back by request, this is one of the most important classes you will ever take if you want to be a successful artist. Composition is complicated, hard to teach, and hard to learn. Nevertheless, I guarantee that you will have two active, hands-on, fun-filled days. We will not complete any paintings, but you will leave full of ideas and motivation that will guide you to creating your own original art.
